Contribute to the Future of European Research Infrastructures – Complete the COORDINA-INNOV Survey!

COORDINA-INNOV is funded by the European Commission to devise a new scheme to co-develop the advanced technologies required to maintain the global leadership of European Research Infrastructures.

Europe's large-scale Research Infrastructures— from particle accelerators and photon sources to neutron facilities, life-science platforms and much beyond — are global leaders in frontier science. Because virtually none of their key components can be bought off the shelf, these RIs have become powerful engines of innovation in fields such as superconducting magnets, advanced detectors, precision optics, AI-driven control systems and robotics. The goal of COORDINA-INNOV is to move towards a stronger European innovation ecosystem which allows strategic long-term joint technology development of RI with industry from the outset.

Your expertise is critical!

To shape this ecosystem, the project team invites you to participate in a landscape analysis survey. Your insights will:

  • Inform a Thematic Workshop in Grenoble in early September 2026
  • Shape the project’s policy recommendations to the European Commission for FP10
  • Help design a stronger, more collaborative innovation ecosystem

Access the questionnaire here.

Deadline: 7 August 2026

Why Participate?

  • Impact: Your responses will guide strategic decisions and foster collaboration between research infrastructures and industry.
  • Time Commitment: ~45–60 minutes (save progress anytime).
  • Flexibility: Skip questions where needed—partial inputs are valuable!
  • Transparency: All participants will receive a summary of results.
